RoHS

Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS). 

From the 1^st July 2006 any new product manufactured in, or imported into the EU must be RoHS compliant. 

This EU directive restricts the use of 6 hazardous materials i.e. Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyl and Polybrominated Diphenylether) used in the manufacture of various types of electrical and electronic equipment.

Corporate Direct (Europe) Ltd trading as Corporate Telecommunications supports RoHS. As a distributor we are working with all of our suppliers to establish the compliance status of all products.

Products already in the market place prior to the 1^st July 2006 can continue to be sold and are not governed by the RoHS directive.

Products that are supplied into the market place after 1^st July 2006 that either require a repair or replacement parts must be repaired using compliant components. However older non-compliant products can be repaired using either compliant or non-compliant components.
