Samaritans

Corptel donated £2000 to the Samaritans charity in April 2020. Samaritans have been feeling the additional pressure of the Covid-19 crisis, with many calls coming in and the responsibility to continue to provide a 24/7 and year-round service was strongly felt, so they made an emergency appeal during this time. The appeal aims to fund additional projects such as recruiting former volunteers, virtual training and exploring new ways to be there for users of the Samaritans service.

Samaritans work to help those who are having difficulty coping by listening and offering advice, they prioritise making connections with those who need someone to talk to in difficult times. It is Samaritans' mission to work tirelessly to reach more people and make suicide prevention a priority.
